Associate Vice-President, Private Capital Markets

Lauren Cheng is a highly skilled financial expert specializing in investor relations and communications. Her expertise encompasses strategic communication, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that investors are well-informed about their investments.

As an Associate Vice-President at Equiton, Lauren oversees the Asian Canadian Markets team and is responsible for expanding Equiton’s presence and investment opportunities in this dynamic community. She plays a pivotal role in driving strategic investment initiatives and leverages her deep understanding of market trends and different asset classes to identify the right opportunities for her clients.

Lauren is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese and holds a Master of Social Science in Corporate Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Lauren also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Southeast Asian Studies with a double degree in International Finance from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Lauren has passed the Chartered Financial Analyst level II (CFA Level II) and is working toward the charter.
